4 Winners & 4 Losers in Seahawks Preseason Week 2 Loss vs. Titans

After a loss to Dallas in Week 1, the Seattle Seahawks were on the road for the second week of the NFL preseason. The Seahawks went into Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans in a prime-time game on Sunday night.

Once again, the majority of the starters were out, including rookie running back Jadarian Price. The first-round pick didn't play against the Cowboys, and fans were hopeful to see his debut on Sunday. We learned early in the day that wouldn't happen, as Seattle said Price would sit the entire preseason.

As for the game itself, Seattle was in control until the final quarter, which is when Tennessee scored a late touchdown to take a 19-16 lead, which wound up being the final. With this game behind us, let's see who stands out as both winners and loser from Week 2 of the preseason.

Winner: Connor O'Toole, EDGE

Undrafted out of Utah in 2025, Connor O'Toole appeared in eight games as a rookie and had five tackles. He's a long shot to make the team this year, but he made a strong case for himself against the Titans. O'Toole was active all night and broke through the line to record 1.5 sacks.

Loser: Cody White, WR

It was all Seattle in the first half, but the Titans were given life late in the second quarter. The Seahawks forced a punt, but Cody White was unable to track the ball as the returner and fumbled it away. Tennessee recovered the ball at the Seattle 11. The defense held, but White still gave the Titans three points for free.

Winner: Chazz Surratt, LB

Veteran linebacker Chazz Surratt is fighting for a roster spot after playing in 11 games for the Seahawks last year. On Sunday, he made an excellent play, chasing down Cam Ward and recording a strip-sack.

Surratt finished with five tackles and one sack, doing much of his damage against the Titans' starters.

Loser: Ricky White III, WR

With Jake Bobo suffering an injury earlier this week, there's an open spot at wide receiver. Ricky White III has all the tools to take that job, but made a costly mistake late in this one. After surrendering the lead in the fourth quarter, White made a third-down reception for 30 yards, but the play didn't count. White was flagged for offensive pass interference, putting the Seahawks in a third-and-15 situation.

Winner: Elijah Arroyo, TE

A second-round pick in 2025, Elijah Arroyo joined the Seahawks with plenty of promise but didn't reach his potential as a rookie. This year, he has looked like a vastly improved player during camp and had a great night against the Titans. Arroyo wasn't on the field long, but made an impact with 50 yards on two receptions, including a 36-yard touchdown.

Arroyo was the No. 2 tight end in 2025 with AJ Barner having a breakout season. Don't be surprised if the sophomore begins to eat into his targets as he continues to develop.

Loser: Jason Myers, K

Jason Myers has been one of the league's most consistent kickers and went 41-of-48 in 2025. There shouldn't be any reason for long-term concern, but Myers had a rough night on Sunday. He missed an extra point and field goal in the first half. Even his first make, which was a 48-yarder during the second quarter, only narrowly snuck in.

Winner: Jacardia Wright, RB

With Price and George Holani out, Jacardia Wright was given a chance to shine, and that's exactly what he did. The second-year player put a lot of pressure on players ahead of him, most notably Emanuel Wilson, by rushing for 81 yards on eight attempts. The big play was a 69-yard touchdown in the first quarter that led to an explosion of excitement from the sidelines.

You would have liked to see more on the remainder of his carries, but Wright did enough to insert himself into the conversation at running back.

Loser: Jalen Milroe, QB

Jalen Milroe has more than enough talent to compete for the QB2 spot with Drew Lock, but he still hasn't put it all together. Sunday was a perfect example of this as he had some great plays, including a 16-yard run. He also had two interceptions, including one to end a potential game-winning drive. In all, he was 6-of-11 for 52 yards and was sacked twice. Not an ideal outing for the sophomore.
