Report: Ex-Titans Center Aaron Brewer to Sign With Miami Dolphins

Center Aaron Brewer becomes the fourth player from last season's 6-11 team to leave the Tennessee Titans in free agency. According to several reports, Brewer will play for the Miami Dolphins.

NASHVILLE — Another domino falls in the 2024 NFL free agency cycle for the Tennessee Titans.

Less than 10 hours after the Titans inked a deal with former Denver Broncos center Lloyd Cushenberry, reports surfaced that center Aaron Brewer found a new home with the Miami Dolphins.

He signed a three-year, $21 million deal with the Dolphins, according to NFL Network

Brewer is the fourth Titan free agent to agree to terms with a new team. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting is going to the Arizona Cardinals, defensive end Denico Autry and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair are going to the Houston Texans.

Brewer was Pro Football Focus' 11th-rated center overall last season, with a 71.6 grade. He shined in run blocking, with 78.7, good for seventh among NFL centers. However, he struggled in pass protection.

Brewer allowed six sacks, making him the second-worst center in this regard. He also allowed 34 pressures and had a PFF pass protection grade of 52.5.

The Titans signed center Lloyd Cushenberry, running back Tony Pollard, and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie.

  • DENICO AUTRY TO TEXANS: Denico Autry had a career-high 11.5 sacks last season for the Tennessee Titans. Pro Football Focus (PFF) ranks Autry as the 12th-best edge rusher on the free-agent market and the 64th-best available player overall. CLICK HERE
  • MURPHY-BUNTING TO ARIZONA: Sean Murphy-Bunting was a starting corner for a Tennessee Titans unit that ranked 26th in pass coverage last season. His Pro Football Focus (PFF) coverage grade was 57.6, which placed him 90th out of 127 NFL cornerbacks. CLICK HERE

  • NEW CENTER LLOYD CUSHENBERRY: The Tennessee Titans reportedly will sign Denver Broncos free agent Lloyd Cushenberry, who is expected to pass protection up the middle for quarterback Will Levis. Cushenberry, who is 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, allowed only one sack in 2023. CLICK HERE
