Now that the PGA tour hit the resume button on this year’s tour with last weekend’s Charles Schwab Challenge, gambling on golf is once again int he spotlight for the upcoming RBC Heritage. Starting on June 18th, the world’s top ranked golfers will tee off from Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The sports books released the odds for the upcoming PGA Tour event and list Rory Mcllroy as this favorite at 11-to-1 odds. Mcllroy is followed by Justin Thomas at 16-to-1 and Jon Rahm with 18-to-1 odds. Which golfers are worthy of a wager? Sports Illustrated’s gambling analyst Frank Taddeo breaks down the field for the RBC Heritage.

Bill Enright: More action from the PGA Tour with the RBC Heritage from South Carolina. They're playing out at Hilton Head and the world's best golfers will be in action once again. Coming off the Charles Schwab Classic. Now they're getting ready for the RBC Heritage. Here with me now is SI Fantasy and Gambling analyst Frank Taddeo with the latest odds on who's going to win this event. Frank, what are you seeing?

Frank Taddeo: Yeah, right now, Bill, if we're able to get treated to another epic finish like we just saw this past weekend at the Charles Schwab Challenge, then all sports bettors and PGA fans are really going to be treated to another great event, because right now this board is stacked. The winner last week who won in a playoff, Daniel Berger, he's coming in right now at Draftkings sportsbook at healthy odds of 35 to 1, as well as the top five players in the world, they're back once again to tee it this week in Harbor Town. And that's going to be Rory McIlroy checking in at the odds of 11 to 1. Jon Rahm at 18 to 1. Justin Thomas at 16 to 1. Brooks Koepka at 45 to 1. And Dustin Johnson, as well at 45 to 1. And Bill, five time RBC Heritage winner Davis Love the Third, he's being offered right now at astronomical odds of 1500 to 1 in his attempt at a sixth victory, while reigning champion of the RBC Heritage Event, CT Pan, he's coming in to defend his title at odds of 600 to 1. Talk about value. As we know our very own Shawn Childs, he nailed Berger last week in his pre tournament value in the Charles Schwab Challenge at odds of 80 to 1. And this week's event, Bill, it's another great opportunity after seeing this betting board. So right now, all I could say is buckle up, because this is going to be a great ride once again in the PGA Tour this upcoming weekend, Bill.
