JJ Redick gives credit to Pat Beverley for turning around the Chicago Bulls - "The reality is that Patrick Beverley makes a huge impact"

In this story:
While some may scoff at the antics and comments of Chicago Bulls guard Patrick Beverley, the winning mentality that he brings to the table cannot be understated. Basketball fans saw that at every stop—whether it was with the Houston Rockets, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and now, the Bulls, who Beverley has helped push the edges of the NBA Playoffs. All of Beverley's contributions to the Bulls' late-season resurgence are not lost on former NBA sharpshooter and now-renowned media personality JJ Redick.
"The reality is that Patrick Beverley makes a huge impact. He makes a huge impact defensively. He makes a huge impact on the spirit of the team," said Redick on his podcast, The Old Man & The Three.
Puts the Bulls on track
By now, most are already familiar with Beverley's path to make it back to his hometown of Chicago: traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to Orlando, gets bought out, and then picked up by the Bulls. Ever since his arrival, the Bulls have gone 10-6 to get to 10th place in the standings which leads to the Play-in tournament.
"He gets traded from the Lakers, gets bought out, ends up going to Chicago. And f*** man, he's put them in a position to be in the playoffs," Redick kept praising Beverley.
Gotta give Patrick Beverley credit for the impact he's made on the Bulls.

Undeniable impact
Whether it's the defensive ferocity that earned him the nickname "Mr. 94 Feet" or his energy, which was on full display when he brought out the "too little" celebration against LeBron James, of all people, on Sunday night, Beverley's impact on the Bulls has been undeniable.

"He makes an impact in the makeup, the cohesiveness of a basketball team, give the guy a lot of credit. They are a different team," said Redick.
