The marquee matchup of Saturday night's slate of basketball games was the Chicago Bulls facing off against a fully healthy Los Angeles Lakers team.

Fans had been waiting for weeks for LeBron James and Rui Hachimura to finally return to the Lakers lineup, but they weren't the ones who stole the show on Saturday night.

The first quarter of the game belonged to two players: Luka Doncic and Coby White.

In the first quarter alone, Doncic put up 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists on 62% shooting from the field. He ended up scoring 29 points in the first half alone. On the other side, White put up 16 points in the first quarter alone.

"Niko really just gave us this guy lmaooo," mocked one Lakers fan about the Mavericks trading Doncic.

"Best player in the world," said another Laker fan emphatically.

"Shai cant even hit 7 threes for a whole game," another fan mocked.

"They are losing to the bulls relax," said a Chicago Bulls fan.

Even with Doncic's monster first half, the Los Angeles Lakers were down by three points against the Chicago Bulls in the first half.

Surprisingly, LeBron James had a very pedestrian first half against the Chicago Bulls. LeBron put up 5 points, 5 rebounds, and assists on 2/8 shooting from the field. With a second half left to play, anything can happen.
