NBA Twitter Erupts After Cavs-Grizzlies Skirmish

In this story:
Tensions flared up in the third quarter of the Cavs-Grizzlies game after Dillion Brooks hit Donovan Mitchell below the belt. There's no way to tell whether it was intentional but Brooks certainly was being careful as he rolled over Mitchell's ankle and threw his fist up in the air.
Both Mitchell and Brooks were ejected from the game but the altercation didn't stop there. NBA Twitter was set on fire afterward.
Here are some of the Tweets:

Dillon Brooks intentionally went for his groin area.
Brooks also disrespected LeBron a couple weeks ago.

It's interesting to so many of these Tweets were in defense of Mitchell. There were obviously some criticizing him, but NBA fans in general seemed to understand why he did what he did.
Intentional or not, whenever a player gets hit "there" there's going to be a response. Not to mention that Mitchell is also still dealing with a groin injury that has sidelined him in a handful of games at the end of January.
We'll have to wait and see whether or not the NBA Offices decide to hand suspensions in response to this fight.
