Warriors interested in blockbuster trade for Mavericks' Anthony Davis

In this story:
The Dallas Mavericks are willing to listen to trade offers for star forward/center Anthony Davis, as he has mostly not been available since last season's shocking trade involving Luka Doncic. They're also focused on retooling around Cooper Flagg, and the lineups involving Flagg and Davis have a net rating of -3.1.
Most of the rumor mill has surrounded Eastern Conference teams such as the Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks, but NBA insider Chris Haynes is now reporting that the Golden State Warriors could be another team interested in trading for Davis as they look to capitalize on the twilight of Stephen Curry's career.
"I was told they're contemplating a case to acquire Anthony Davis as well," Haynes said on Amazon Prime on Friday. "I was told that Dallas is not that fascinated with what Golden State has on its books, and so if the Golden State Warriors did really want to make a true play at Anthony Davis, they would likely have to acquire some more assets or involve another team... The Warriors are really trying to figure out ways to assure themself that they have a real defensive dominant starting center going into the second half of the season to help Stephen Curry and Draymond Green out for a championship push."

The irony about this is that Davis got hurt against the Warriors on Christmas Day this week, going down with what was initially described as right groin spasms, but is now being listed as an adductor strain.
Any trade the Warriors make is likely to involve Jonathan Kuminga, who the Mavericks have probably next to no interest in, but other teams would be interested in the 23-year-old.

What Would a Mavericks-Warriors Trade For Anthony Davis Look Like?
It's pretty hard to make salaries match between the Mavericks and Warriors, especially without involving Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green, which I think would be needed for a trade of this magnitude. Butler and Stephen Curry are each making more than $50 million, and adding Anthony Davis to that would make it a combined $167.8 million for three older players.
Just for loyalty's sake, I imagine they'd be more interested in trading Jimmy Butler than trading Draymond Green, even if Green isn't the player he used to be. But who is going to be interested in trading for Jimmy Butler at this point? He's 36 years old, making $54.1 million this year, and is set to make $56.8 million next year. It'll be very hard to find anyone interested in taking that salary on, which is why this trade is extremely unlikely.
