Fans Not Happy With Cam Johnson's Slow Start

In this story:
We're only two games in the Phoenix Suns' regular season, and opinions are already being formed on this year's squad.
Devin Booker looks sharper while handling the ball. Deandre Ayton has displayed a renewed focus and intensity between the lines. Damion Lee has been serviceable while Landry Shamet works back from injury.
However, it hasn't all been sunshine for the 1-1 Suns, as their first loss of the season- an overtime 113-111 mishap to the Trail Blazers- saw Cam Johnson play poorly.
It is noteworthy to mention Johnson has been trying to push through injury since the preseason, but fans have quickly pointed to his performance on the floor.
Phoenix pushed Jae Crowder aside this offseason and inserted Johnson into the starting lineup. The two sides were not able to come to an agreement on an extension, as Johnson will become a restricted free agent next season.
Well, Cam Johnson not making it through either of the first two games is some ammo for not signing him to a big deal.

bro Cam Johnson is great but he is always hurt. Maybe a reason Phoenix didn’t wanna pay him yet

So Crowder is a better starter than Cam Johnson. This is why I never wanted to sub them out for each other last season. Cams durability is a HUGE issue rn

DA looked so good tonight and one more game I’ll give up on Cam Johnson he’s so disappointing

Johnson's five points in 23 minutes on 2-9 shooting isn't exactly what the doctor ordered last night.
Should we pump the brakes on already giving Johnson heat? It's still early in the season.
As for Cam Johnson's durability, again I say, it's game 2. And I'm not stressing over Chris Paul either; it's pretty clear there's a concerted effort to put the other guys in more situations. Which we also knew was coming!

80 games still remain on the schedule, and just like any other player, some nights will be better than others.
Yet with recent contract talks breaking down and injuries such as a finger sprain and cramps, the pressure continues to slowly build for Johnson to perform.
