Injury Report: Steph Curry's Status vs. Dallas Mavericks

The Golden State Warriors have listed Steph Curry as probable for Saturday night's game vs. the Dallas Mavericks. The team is calling it a left lower leg contusion for Curry, who had a bit of an injury scare on a four-point play in the team's loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Curry has been adamant about his intent to play every game for the Warriors since his return from injury, and while the team has held him on for injury management at times this year, it seems as if a new sense of urgency has kicked in recently. This game is not part of a back-to-back, so injury management would not have been at play anyways, but Golden State's previous contest was not only the last half of a back-to-back, but it was the night after an overtime loss as well.

Because that game went into OT, many felt as if Curry would sit the next night, but he did not. It was a solid effort from Curry against the Nuggets, but Golden State was overmatched without Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. Having an injury scare late in that game, it is great to see that Curry is being listed as probable, which suggests he will likely be good to go.

Having fallen back to an even .500, the Warriors really need to win this game against a Mavericks team missing Luka Doncic.
