On a recent episode of Podcast P, which is presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green joined LA Clippers star Paul George for a lengthy discussion. The two broke down several different topics, including Green's hidden injury from Golden State's historic 73-9 season.

"I remember I got hit in the head by Joe Ingles like going for a loose ball and I fell down," Green said. "This may be like five games left in the season, I was concussed as hell. I can't tell nobody, because if I sit any of these games we may not get the record. We gotta get this record. So I just played through it."

Green said he knew for sure he had a concussion, but played through it. The Warriors star added he played through a lot that season, but he and his teammates were determined to get the record for most wins in a single season.

While the Warriors were locked in on setting that record, Green admitted it might not have been worth playing through that injury. When factoring in their collapse in the Finals, Green believes the team may have overexerted themselves in some ways going for the regular season record.

"I knew for sure I was concussed, but I refused," Green added. "I'm like 'No, we're going to get these 73 games.' And we did it, but at what price? I look back on that, and it's like wow that was an incredible feat. If you told me today [we] can win 73 games next year and actually close the deal and win a championship, I may say 'No, I'm cool.'"
