The bottom line is the Wizards are outmatched in this game. Playing against Luka Doncic is a problem for everyone in the league. But the fact remains that there are other guys that can beat you too. Grant Williams is one of the best shooters in the league. Tim Hardaway Jr. is one of the most underrated players and scorers in the league. Their rookie Dereck Lively ll is going to be one of the best bigs in the NBA soon. The Wizards will have to make a decision as to who will be the X-Factor for the Mavericks. If they are smart, they should bring the occasional double team to Doncic early and often in this game. Everything is ran through him despite him having capable teammates. They can’t allow Luka to get comfortable or going early on in this game. Washington will do well to throw different defenders at Luka throughout this game. If they make things tough for him, force him into difficult situations, then they will have a slight chance at winning this game.
