What Change Is Needed In Washington?

In this story:
In business, the people at the top of the food chain love to put their signature on everything. Often times when a new Manager or Owner steps into the reigns, they tend to make changes that fit their stamp of approval. They want to bring in their own team of employees to make the difference. It is an understandable situation, however it is also a very unfortunate situation. Good employees seem to miss out and get the bad end of the stick in these moments.
When the Wizards revamped their front office, they put a new team on the floor. Jordan Poole is here now. Tyus Jones is starting next to Poole in the backcourt. General Manager Will Dawkins and President of Basketball Operations Michael Winger have been busy with this team and the work may not be done yet. With the Wizards losing pretty bad early on into the season, one very significant change may happen soon. This change may need to happen unfortunately.

The Wizards are now 2-9. They’re tied for the second worst record in the NBA and stand just a game above the Detroit Pistons. Washington is on a four game losing streak. The loss to Toronto the other night was shocking. It was a game that they had won but loss late in the end. Poor rotations and communication cost them that game. However, the loss to Dallas was concerning. It was a game where they should have won easily. Kyrie Irving didn’t play and they still managed to lose this game.
The Wizards didn't have a FG in the final 7:25 of the 4th quarter. During postgame, Wes Unseld Jr. addressed why Daniel Gafford didn't play down the stretch.

It may be time to pull the plug on Head Coach Wes Unseld Jr. As this season goes on, if the losing continues to happen, he may very well lose the locker room if he hasn’t already. He makes poor rotations throughout the game.
Many people are wondering why isn’t Johnny Davis, the number tenth pick in the draft last year ago playing. He played well for the Wizards late last season.
Why isn’t Jordan Poole the player he was in Golden State with the Warriors? His play thus far has been underwhelming.
Finally, why isn’t the team running any plays for Daniel Gafford. Post scoring and an interior presence is needed.
Wes Unseld Jr. has gone through multiple losing streaks throughout his coaching career with the Washington Wizards. The losing has to stop. Coaches are always the first ones to lose their jobs whenever a crisis comes up. Quite frankly, this losing is a crisis for the Washington Wizards. Don’t be surprised if the new front office led by Will Dawkins and Michael Winger want to bring in their own guy that they would like coaching this team to replace Wes Unseld Jr. who has a coaching record of 72-103 with the Wizards alone.
