Brock Purdy Displayed his Greatest Trait in 49ers' win Against Packers

In this story:
No one could've foresaw the 49ers being in a battle with the Packers in the divisional playoff game.
But that is exactly what ended up happening. Part of that is due to Brock Purdy not playing up to par. For the majority of the game, Purdy was proving to be a limiting factor. And with the 49ers trailing by seven points going into the fourth quarter, it looked like the 49ers were bound to lose the game.
However, despite playing poorly up to that point, Purdy managed to settle down in the final quarter of the game. Look no further than the last offensive drive the 49ers had where he made several throws to help lead them down the field for what would be a game-winning touchdown drive. Given the way Purdy was playing, there was no way to fathom he could do it. And yet, it really shouldn't be shocking that he managed it.
Purdy displayed his greatest trait in the 49ers' win against the Packers. It was shown on the 49ers' last drive, which is how unshakeable he is mentally. From the very moment Purdy stepped in for the 49ers last year, he has shown over and over and over again just how strong he is mentally. Purdy could play poorly for the majority of a game and still deliver when the 49ers need him. He could be facing actual pressure in his face on a play and not falter. This is who Purdy is and it feels like he doesn't get enough credit for it.
That is by far his greatest and most elite trait. It has nothing to do with his processing, pocket presence, or mobility. Those trait pail in comparison to how amazing he is from a mental standpoint. To have a quarterback that doesn't get shook is everything. The moment is never too much for him and he proved it again on the game-winning touchdown drive. It didn't matter if he played poorly due to the Packers defense or the rain, he was able to overcome it for one final drive with the season on the line.
Purdy having such a stone cold mental fortitude is exactly why the 49ers are capable of winning a Super Bowl with him.
