Report: Cincinnati Meeting With Western Kentucky Cornerback Kahlef Hailassie

Cincinnati is eyeing the secondary options in this draft.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals have a visit scheduled with Western Kentucky cornerback Kahlef Hailassie.

Tom Pelissero reported the news.

"Western Kentucky CB Kahlef Hailassie continues to draw interest from some of the NFL’s best teams: He visits the Eagles today, then heads to visit the Bengals," Pelissero tweeted. "A one-time Oregon recruit, Hailassie previously visited the Chiefs."

Hailassie is the consensus 319th-ranked prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft. He should be a free-agent option for the Bengals after the draft.

"Hailassie needs to play with more disciplined eyes, but he is long, fluid, and controlled in his movements to cover from press or off coverage," Dane Brugler wrote in his draft guide.
