Bengals Receivers Coach Troy Walters Attends Malachi Corley's Pro Day

Corley is one of the top playmakers in the 2024 NFL Draft.

CINCINNATI — Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley had an impressive Pro Day on Monday afternoon.

Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters was in attendance to watch Corley, who ran a 4.47 40-yard dash and benched pressed 225 pounds 27 times. Walters was one of nine NFL wide receivers coaches that attended the Hilltoppers' Pro Day.

Corley has drawn comparisons to Deebo Samuel. The 22-year-old had 259 receptions for 3,035 yards and 29 touchdowns in three seasons for the Hilltoppers. He's projected to be a second or third round pick.

The Bengals have three selections in rounds 2-3, including the 49th overall pick. Cincinnati also has the 80th and 97th overall picks. If the Bengals want Corley, they may need to use their second round (49th) pick on him.

He had 11 touchdown receptions in each of the past two seasons for the Hilltoppers. Corley is 5-10, 207 pounds and tough to bring down. He could give the Bengals two wide receivers with the ability to break tackles. Ja'Marr Chase is arguably the best in the NFL at making the first defender miss. Corley has that same ability and could be a good fit in the Bengals' offense.
