2023 NFL Draft Day Two Major Mock Draft Roundup

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The first round is in the books as major outlets release Day 2 mock drafts. Cincinnati rolled with a defensive lineman on Thursday by plucking Clemson edge rusher Myles Murphy.
Now the needs shift to cornerback, running back, and tight end.
Check out the picks below.
*one pick means second round
ESPN: UCLA Running Back Zach Charbonnet
"Running back Joe Mixon had his lowest rushing yards per game since his rookie year and ranked 33rd among running backs in yards per carry last season," Steve Muench wrote. "The Bengals would save over $7 million if they cut or traded him before June 1 and $10 million if they did it after June 1. Picking up a running back here would give them that option."
NFL.com: South Carolina Cornerback Cam Smith
"Smith has borderline first-round talent, but he's a little grabby and teams expected him to fall somewhat," Lance Zierlein wrote.
Sports Illustrated: Round Two - Miami (FL) Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, Round Three - Illinois Running Back Chase Brown
"I wouldn’t count out a running back or a pass catcher here, but corner is the biggest need for Cincy at this point," Luke Easterling wrote. "Stevenson is a well-built defender who can play physical at the catch point."
The Athletic: Round Two - Charbonnet, Round Three - Old Dominion Offensive Tackle Nick Saldiveri
"Saldiveri has the versatility and experience to play at either tackle spot or reduce inside to guard, where some of his limitations would be covered up," Dane Brugler wrote.
PFF: Round Two - Iowa Tight End Sam LaPorta
LaPorta is outstanding with the ball in his hands," John Kosko wrote. "He can not only run away from defenders (4.59-second 40-yard dash), but he can also make them miss (20 broken tackles on 58 catches in 2022). He would get several open looks in an already elite offense helmed by Joe Burrow.
Round Three - North Carolina State
"Zavala isn't a perfect prospect, but he's a huge human with a strong anchor and an ability to punish linebackers trying to shoot interior gaps on blitzes," Kosko wrote. "He's shown a strong understanding of different protections and has a chance to start in Week 1 and grow into an above-average interior lineman."
