Zac Taylor Reveals More Progress For Joseph Ossai: 'Really is Day-to-Day Right Now'

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Joseph Ossai is making more progress in his return from a sprained ankle. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor updated the defensive end's status on Monday after he suffered the injury during Cincinnati's final preseason game.
"He really is day to day right now," Taylor said. "We'll see where he's at. I don't want to make any guesses on where he'll be on Wednesday, but he had a really good week last week."
Ossai could be a nice Week-2 addition to a defense that created three sacks and six tackles for loss on Sunday. Taylor noted the rest of the roster left the 24-3 loss to Cleveland relatively healthy.
"We'll continue to assess, but I think there's a good chance that most of our team's ready to go, if not maybe practice on Wednesday," Taylor said. "We'll find out some more a little bit today but be ready to go later in the week."
Cincinnati takes on Baltimore at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
