CINCINNATI — Is Brandon Aiyuk AFC North bound? The Browns and Steelers are hoping to trade for the 49ers' star wide receiver according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Aiyuk is entering his fifth NFL season and wants a new contract from San Francisco or whatever team trades for him. The 26-year-old had 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

It feels like he's going to get traded, but maybe the 49ers and Aiyuk come to their senses and reach a long-term deal. San Francisco is a better situation than Pittsburgh, Cleveland or New England. If they can find common ground on money, then there's no reason why the 49ers should trade Aiyuk.

Adam Schefter is reporting that the Steelers have "re-engaged" the 49ers in trade talks with hopes of landing the former first round pick.
