Bills vs. Browns GAMEDAY Preview: Home Game, No More

The Buffalo Bills were supposed to host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday from Highmark Stadium.

The Buffalo Bills were supposed to host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday from Highmark Stadium. Due to an expected winter storm with up to five feet of snow in New York, the game will be played in Detroit at Ford Stadium.

The Bills have dropped their second-straight game after a shocking overtime loss to to the Minnesota Vikings. The lowlight? Quarterback Josh Allen's fumbled snap in the end zone which was recovered for a touchdown against the Vikings. Allen is also leading the league with 10 interceptions, six in the last three games. The fifth-year quarterback looks to turn it around against a Browns team that was blown out by the  Miami Dolphins last week, 39-17.

It's not all bleak for the Bills: Allen is No. 2 in the league in passing with 2,733 yards and their defense ranks second in the NFL in scoring defense, allowing opponents just 16.7 points per game. This week, Buffalo's defense will have their hands full to slow Browns running back Nick Chubb, who has exceeded 100 yards rushing in five games this season.

All eyes on Allen's right elbow, which he injured in the Week 9 loss to the New York Jets. Allen remained limited in his participation this week as he continues to tend to the right elbow injury, which affected him in the Week 10 loss. ... but he is expected to play.

With eight games left on the Bills' schedule, including four AFC East matchups, this is how the division stands: The Dolphins are 7-3, the Jets and Bills are both 6-3, and the New England Patriots are 5-4. The Bills are third after losing to the Jets earlier in the year.

WHO: Buffalo Bills (6-3) vs. Cleveland Browns (3-6)

ODDS: The Bills are 8.5-point favorites vs. the Browns.

GAME TIME: Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 1 p.m. EST

LOCATION: Ford Stadium (Detroit, MI)

TV/RADIO: CBS | WGR 550

THE FINAL WORD: After suffering back-to-back losses, Allen offered some perspective:

“Let’s go about our business. We don’t have to make this a bigger deal than what it is,” Allen told NFL Network... Adversity will “build this foundation on stronger bones.”
