Cleveland Browns to Sign Former Commanders Guard
Cleveland Browns are expected to add some offensive line depth this coming week. Per a report, the Browns are going to sign guard Wes Martin to a deal. Martin is an Ohio native that has spent his first four seasons with Washington.
Martin has started 11 games over four seasons and has played in 38 total games. A fourth-round pick out of Indiana in the 2019 NFL Draft, Martin will be depth for the Browns. With Hjalte Froholdt leaving in free agency, the Browns needed to add some guard depth.
It's likely that Martin will come on a cheap one-year deal. He's 26 years old and is listed at 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds.
After focusing on the defensive trenches mainly, the Browns strike some depth on the offensive line.
