Malachi Corley Hits The AFC North In His Pre-Draft Visit Tour

Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley is drawing significant interest from the AFC North prior to April's NFL Draft.

Malachi Corley has become one of my favorite prospects in this year's draft. While he doesn't have the top tier talent of guys such as Marvin Harrison Jr. or Malik Nabers, he has the potential to be a diamond in the rough for teams looking to add depth to their receiver room.

Corley brings an incredibly unique skillset to the table, one that is rare in today's wide receivers. He came to Western Kentucky as a running back before transitioning to the receiver position but didn't lose his love for contact. Corley has the skillset of a great slot receiver and the physicality of a running back. The proof is littered all over his tape and it is spectacular.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers wide receiver Malachi Corley (11) turns up field after making a catch

Corley is a guy who has been on the Browns' radar throughout the draft process and they will bring him to the facility this week as he completes his pre-draft visits. Cleveland is not the only potential AFC North suitor as the wide receiver will also visit rivals Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

Cleveland is going to be operating from a position of leverage at the wide receiver position. The room is loaded and they do not need to draft a guy to contribute right away.

Corley is a guy who may make sense for Cleveland as he is slotted as the 85th top prospect according to Pro Football Focus. Things will certainly have to fall Cleveland's way for him to be available when the Browns are on the clock at pick 85 but it isn't out of the question.

An eye-opening Corley comp is one Deebo Samuel. The way that he plays is certainly similar to that of Samuel and if his career turns out to be even a small percentage of what Deebo has accomplished, then taking a swing for Corley in the third is more than worth it.
