NFL Insider Says Watch This Name for OC if Cardinals Hire Jonathan Gannon

In this story:
The Arizona Cardinals still need to find their next head coach, yet that hasn't stopped offensive coordinator talk around the desert.
The Cardinals earlier were brought up as a potential fit for Eric Bieniemy when his agent spoke to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.
That all depends on who gets the job in Arizona - though 2/3 known remaining candidates (Lou Anarumo and Jonathan Gannon) are defensive coordinators themselves.
Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer says if Gannon gets the job, look out for Cleveland Browns QB coach Drew Petzing.
One name to watch if @Eagles DC Jonathan Gannon lands the @AZCardinals job this week—Browns QBs coach Drew Petzing. Gannon and Petzing were together in Minnesota, and Petzing would be a leading name for OC on Gannon's staff (again, if Gannon gets the AZ job).

Petzing (who is set to be 36-years-old) first got his start in the league as a football operations intern in Cleveland back in 2013. He then spent some time with the Minnesota Vikings with varying titles on the offensive side of the ball before heading back to Cleveland as tight ends coach in 2022.
He then moved to coaching quarterbacks last season.
As Breer pointed out, Petzing and Gannon spent time together when Gannon was the team's defensive backs coach from 2014-17.
This of course all hinges on Gannon getting the Cardinals gig. Arizona has interviewed Mike Kafka and Anarumo twice but were unable to speak with Gannon.
