Lions Fans React to Trash Talk from NFC North Rival

In this story:
The Detroit Lions and their passionate fanbase have certainly drawn the attention of the NFL world and namely fans of the Chicago Bears.
Following a successful 2022 campaign, many pundits are pegging the Lions to be the winner of the NFC North and potentially hosting a home playoff game.
Last season, the Lions were able to defeat the Bears twice and soundly defeated their NFC North rival, 41-10, on the first day of the new calendar year.
“I was proud of our coaches, I was proud of our team,” Dan Campbell said after the Lions defeated the Bears soundly. “We bounced back and I knew we would because of the guys we have on this team, man. They went to work, they trusted us, we went full pads on Wednesday and said we’re going to get our identity back and we’re going to recalibrate and those guys did that. They trusted us and they came out and it looked like that."
Bears Nation decided to take a jab at Lions fans online, posting, "How do we feel about Lions fans? The same way QB1 feels about Lions players, we just run right over em like they aren't even there."
Lions fans are not known to back down and many responded by calling out the team for not having a real franchise passer and for the lopsided result that took place at Ford Field.
Here is a sample of the reaction online to Bears fans engaging in trash talk ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Stinks that Justin Fields just runs all over the Lions.

If only we knew how to beat him. I wish our team was getting better this offseason so we could keep pace with the Bears. https://t.co/3yqaWNGm5r

The Bears fan base is a delusional clown show.

At least when the @Lions were bad we knew it and accepted it for what it was.
Don’t let them rattle you, Detroit. Embrace the desperation, laugh about it.
They’ll be silenced by October. pic.twitter.com/6IfkP9elOc
