Jalen Carter Visiting Detroit Lions

In this story:
Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Jalen Carter is reportedly scheduled to visit with the personnel department of the Detroit Lions Monday.
After a few red flags emerged throughout the pre-draft process, the talented defensive lineman will have his opportunity to prove he loves the game of football and has the necessary makeup to belong in Detroit's locker room.
Carter's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, strongly believes that despite the issues that have dominated headlines the past few weeks, the ex-Bulldogs defensive lineman is going to be selected early in the upcoming NFL Draft.
He is so confident of it that he is advising his client not to take visits to teams drafting outside of the top 10.
"Some people have come out and said why would I do this, since teams can trade up? No duh," said Rosenhaus. "Don't you think I've had 100 teams trade up to take our guys in the draft? I just didn't start becoming an agent. Quite honestly, I don't want to wear my client out going to visit teams, if you're not going to be able to get him. I know he's going in the top-10. ... Top-10 teams have said to me, 'We're taking your guy if he's there.'"
If Carter is available for Detroit at No. 6, many supporters and pundits are curious to see if the Lions would take a chance on a player with some question marks off the field.
In Lions general manager Brad Holmes' first two years in Detroit, the picks in the draft have been pillars both on and off the field, including Aidan Hutchinson, Penei Sewell and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
This week, Carter will now have his opportunity to prove why he belongs with Detroit's front office and coaching staff.
