Throughout the week, Adams was dealing with a hamstring issue. Despite missing two days of practice, Adams had himself another strong contest. Here's what the Rams had to say about the effect of the injury before the contest.

Q: How concerned are about Davante Adams with the short turnaround to play the 49ers on Thursday?

“I think that we're managing. Obviously, you'd like him to feel as good as possible. He's got such a good understanding of his body. Being the first year that we're working together, I think he's one of those guys that does such a great job in the walkthrough staying engaged and if it's going to be best for him to feel at his best on Sunday, it's absolutely the right approach. Now, in an ideal world, are you able to get practice reps and continue to improve on some of those things? Of course, but we always have to be able to manage what we think is the right thing based on the circumstances and these are the circumstances that we're dealt.”

Q: Adams’ his soreness will affect his snap count on Sunday?

“I don't know about that," stated McVay. "You might monitor some things, but if I told him that, I think he would say, ‘Nah, I’m not doing that.’ He’s in good spirits. He's been engaged in the walkthroughs. He's doing everything that he can to be physically and mentally ready to go and that's why he's a total stud. I’m excited about that. We’ll see how the game goes. Ultimately, we have be able to do what we think is best for Davante and for our team. Those things go hand in hand for us. If that changes any of the snap count, that's not something that we're expecting but we'll see.”

Adams would not be affected from the injury and is turning his attention towards the 49ers.
