NASHVILLE - Jaelyn Duncan became the newest Tennessee Titans offensive line member when the Tennessee Titans used the 186th pick of the NFL Draft, in round six, to select the former Maryland left tackle.

Standing 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds, with 33 1/4 arms, Duncan has the requisite size of an NFL left tackle, though there is a chance he could move to the right side or even inside to guard at the next level.

During his Terrapin career, Duncan started 39 games but struggled with penalties throughout his time at the Big 10 program, as he was flagged 31 times over his career, with 20 coming in the last two seasons.

CBS Sports evaluation for Duncan shared the following.

Highly athletic four-year starter at left tackle who might have the best chance to stick in the league as a zone-scheme guard. It’s easy to love the athletic flashes, but it’s challenging to love the complete body of work when studying the game tape. Duncan rarely plays with enough finish and his man is frequently near the final action because of it. He has the foot speed to protect as a left tackle, but his ability to anchor is a major concern. His lateral quickness should work to his advantage as a move blocker, but he’ll need to unearth enough grit to stand up to NFL bullies at the point of attack to make it.

Duncan visited the Titans as one of their top 30 visits and shared some details of that visit with the media on Saturday.

"I met with them at the Senior Bowl, I met with them at the combine, and I also had a 30 visit with them," said Duncan. "All the meetings went very well."

"The 30 visit was great, you know I had a great time, and the coaches, player personnel people, everything, it was just a great visit all around," continued Duncan. "I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the staff, and being out there, it was great."

As for the type of player he is, Duncan described himself like this.

"I think I'm a great player, I'm very athletic, and I think I move, and of course, I need to work on a couple of things, but I think, like I said, I move well. I've got good feet. I can bend. I excel in pass pro, and can work in the run, but there's always room for improvement in every aspect of the game.

In his final college season, Duncan allowed seven sacks, 17 quarterback pressures, and 4 quarterback hits in helping Maryland to an 8-5 record, including a bowl victory over NC State.

Duncan joins Peter Skoronski as the two offensive linemen taken by the Titans so far in this draft. Ironically, Duncan shared that he and Skoronski have been working out together during this predraft process after playing against each other in the Big 10.
