The Titans Offense I Wish We Could See In 2023

What if we could pick four players from this draft class that we want to see on the Tennessee Titans offense this season?
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

In this story:

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Titans have just six total selections in the upcoming NFL Draft, and there is a chance they could choose to use some of them for defensive players.

In the spirit of fantasy and wishful thinking, what if we could select four current draft prospects to add to the Titans roster for the coming season?

In selecting four players to add to the current roster, I'm imposing only one rule on myself. I can only add one player at any one position.

My Starting Lineup

* Denotes Rookie Draft Pick Additions

QB- Ryan Tannehill: I'm keeping the veteran around for one last season because Malik Willis isn't ready, and I don't want to grab any of the current crops of quarterbacks when I don't want to start a rookie to scuttle through the potential struggles of this team this season.

RB- Derrick Henry: Do I really need to give a reason?

WR- Treylon Burks: The second-year pro is facing a bit of a make-it-break-it season where he needs to stay healthy and on the field and produce.

*WR- Jonathan Mingo: Yes, I passed on Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but there's just something about Mingo, the AJ Brown clone, that intrigues me and makes me think he can be something special. He is bigger and stronger than JSN and is slightly faster in the forty (4.45 to 4.48).

WR- Kyle Phillips: Phillips is the slot guy, and hoping he gets healthy and can stay that way.

TE - Chig Okonkwo: After a solid rookie season, Okonkwo should be ready for a breakout season as the move tight end.

* TE- Darnell Washington: A massive tight end that can block and can get down the middle of the field and make plays. His height and athleticism would greatly compliment Okonkwo and be a safety valve for Tannehill.

LT- Andre Dillard:  I'm giving Dillard his shot and will skip adding a rookie here. Praying I'm making the right call.

* LG- O'Cyrus Torrence: The line needs help, and this is the best guard to add to do that.

C- Aaron Brewer: This is the other position that has me concerned and one that could cost my team big time if Brewer isn't the guy.

RG- Daniel Brunskill: One of the new additions fills this role but will have an interesting potential backup behind him.

*RT- Dawand Jones: The massive (6'8", 370 lb) earth mover would be an upgrade over Nicholas Petite-Frere, who now becomes a backup guard/tackle.

There you have it, my dream offense for the Titans in 2023.

Flame away!

Luxury Picks

I'd be all about adding Bijan Robinson or Tyree Wilson if the team didn't have more pressing needs to be addressed here. As for Will Anderson, I could see taking him as the best player available at No.11 if he is there.
