Zach Ertz Being Under-Valued Among Tight Ends in Fantasy Leagues

Why Zach Ertz is being drafted so low despite being a TE4

Compared to this remarkable 2018 season, Zach Ertz saw a slight decline in his stats in 2019 but his production still put him in the upper echelon of the position. The Eagles relied on Ertz as the team’s top target and resulted in 88 catches for 916 yards and six touchdowns all of which were in the Top 4 at the position. While George Kittle and Travis Kelce are getting all the love from fantasy football players, Ertz is somehow being under-valued. According to our Advanced ADP Ertz is being drafted as TE4 which is right in the range of our projections but oddly enough he’s coming off the board three rounds AFTER Travis Kelce and George Kittle. Our player projections have Ertz slotted for 89 catches, 883 yards and six touchdowns, which is right in the wheelhouse of his annual average. Sports Illustrated’s fantasy football analyst Ben Heisler and EagleMaven editor Ed Kracz discuss Ertz’s 2020 fantasy football outlook.
