The Los Angeles Dodgers are the first back-to-back champions in a quarter century.

After taking down the Toronto Blue Jays in one of the most thrilling Game 7s in World Series history, New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez asked for superstar Shohei Ohtani's autograph.

Ohtani furthered his greatness during this illustrious postseason run, batting .265/.405/.691 with an OPS of 1.096. He ended the run with eight home runs and 14 RBIs on the road to helping the Dodgers win a title in each of the two seasons he has been on the team.

Something that Ohtani did this season that he had yet to do in a Dodgers uniform was pitch.

His spectacular batting already puts him in a league of his own, but the value he also brings as an elite pitcher is unprecedented. Across his 20.1 postseason innings on the mound, he struck out 28 batters and walked seven.

Ohtani's regular season was perhaps enough to win a fourth MVP award, and his third in a row.

He was hitting .282 and led the National League in slugging percentage (.622) and OPS (1.014). He also led MLB in runs with 146, and added 55 home runs, the most of his career.
