The Cleveland Guardians had a long, and not so fun, day of baseball on Saturday as they were swept in their doubleheader with the Miami Marlins. Miami clinched the series win, but Cleveland came out swinging on Sunday as they took the 7-4 victory.

The story of the day was Logan Allen who made his MLB debut and looked like a true Big League pitcher on the mound. He finished with eight strikeouts (the most by a Guardians starter this season) and gave up just one run in six innings of work.

You truly can't ask for a better debut than that. Especially with the state of Cleveland's starting rotation.

On top of Allen shutting down the Marlins on the mound, the offense finally got back on track after a week of mediocrity.

Amed Rosario led the way with four hits and four runs scored. He was just a home run shy of the cycle and it looked like he had it in his final at-bat before the ball cut foul. Rosario has had a rough time at the plate to start the season, but it's hard to cool him off once he gets going.

Terry Francona said after the game that players typically cool down as quickly as they heat up and that's what he's seeing with Rosario and the rest of the lineup.

Josh Bell also had a big day as he hit his second home run in a Guardians uniform and added an RBI double on top of that. His home run came on the heels of Jose Ramirez and Bell's back-to-back homers which was also great to see.

Hopefully, the Guardians can keep the bats going as they welcome the Colorado Rockies to town next for another interleague series.
