The New York Yankees carry a two-game winning streak into their three-game series with the Miami Marlins which starts on Monday at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees (8-2) will square off with a Marlins (0-9) team that is still looking for its first win of the season.

New York lost its home opener against Toronto on Friday, 3-0. But the Yankees bounced back to win the final two games of the series, winning 9-8 on Saturday and 8-3 on Sunday.

Giancarlo Stanton’s bat is undergoing a resurgence, as he leads the Yankees with three home runs. Oswaldo Cabrera and Aaron Judge each have two home runs.

Shortstop Anthony Volpe is hitting a blistering .424 with a team-leading 14 hits, with a home run and three RBI. Cabrera leads the team with eight RBI, while Juan Soto has seven RBI.

Luke Weaver, a reliever, leads the Yankees with three victories. He’s claimed the win in all three of his appearances so far. Clay Holmes has saved four of the Yankees’ eight wins.
