SI's Robin Lundberg discusses how Thomas' performance further proves that lineman is some of the most athletic athletes around.

Robin Lundberg: Who says offensive lineman aren’t athletic? I sure don’t. Not even when it comes to former pros and ten-time pro bowler Joe Thomas proved he’s still got moves on NBC’s Titan Games, even impressing The Rock. And The Rock has been around some big men who could move in his day. Thomas is svelt despite a 6’6 frame nowadays but goes to show for all the talk around skill position and fantasy players, none of them can get it done without the guys in the trenches. And lineman are not only essential cogs to any successful football team, but are also terrific athletes too--at least the Joe Thomas’ of the world are.

Analysis from Peter Smith of BrownsDigest: Perhaps a function of coincidence where his body was in his training as well as the opportunity to compete, while Joe Thomas has been public about transforming his body both with exercise and diet, one can't help but notice Thomas hadn't done anything like this until after the Cleveland Browns drafted Jedrick Wills to be their left tackle in April, thereby reducing the amount of questions Thomas will get about coming back to play in the NFL after his impressive performance.
