The Dallas Mavericks are closing a five-game road stretch against the Boston Celtics on Thursday evening, and they're hoping Anthony Davis will be ready to go. They've made a few trades over the last week, and Max Christie was able to make his first appearance for Dallas on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. But who will be playing for the Mavericks and Celtics?

Anthony Davis is listed as QUESTIONABLE with an abdominal strain that he suffered against the 76ers... as a member of the Lakers. That happened last Tuesday, and the initial expectation was that he'd miss a week.

Dereck Lively II (right ankle stress fracture), P.J. Washington (personal reasons, his new child was born this week), Dwight Powell (right hip strain), and Caleb Martin (trade pending) will be OUT for the Mavs.

Jruei Holiday

Boston is mostly healthy, as the only player on their injury report is Jrue Holiday, who is listed as QUESTIONABLE with a right shoulder impingement. Everyone else is available besides a few two-way players.

Dallas would like to get Anthony Davis back for this, just to have an idea of how they stack up against Boston. The Celtics have had a lot of offensive success against the Mavericks dating back to last season, and Nico Harrison swears he made the Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis swap because "defense wins championships" (insert eye-roll here).

Boston and Dallas will tip-off around 6:30 p.m. CST.
