Why Tyus Jones Is Changing The Culture For Wizards
When things get ugly in life, you have to try to find some positivity within the situation. Have you ever heard of “positive vibes only?” That saying promotes a positive outlook on life even when things are going bad. Things have been bad for the Washington Wizards thus far this season. However, it’s good to look for the good within everything.
We often times make decisions we regret in life. Those decisions can lead to a life long time of pain and suffering. You may ask yourself “What was I thinking?” “Why did I do that?” Those moments may haunt us for the rest of our lives.
One decision the Washington Wizards may be happy they didn’t make is trading away Tyus Jones. Jones is a highly coveted player. He understands the game well. He plays the game the right way. He also understands his limitations. He does what he can to help the team compete on a nightly basis.
Tyus Jones continues to play well for himself and the Washington Wizards despite the continuing losses as they haven’t won a single game for the entire month of February thus far. However, Tyus Jones is still racking up assists as he just surprised over 2,500 career assist the other night. They always say winning is contagious. Well the same can be said of how you play the game. As mentioned earlier, Tyus Jones plays the game the right way and it seems to be contagious for the entire Washington Wizards team too.
Although the Wizards have the second worst record in the league at the moment, one thing they can feel good and proud about is the fact that they are top 10 in the NBA in assists per game. They play together as a team each and every night. With that being said, they win and lose together as a team too.
Eventually, they will turn things around as a team and will become a playoff team as they have shown that they can and will stay together and collectively as a team despite the many challenges they have faced this season.
