Report: Bengals Still Hoping to Add Veteran Piece Ahead of Trade Deadline
CINCINNATI — The Bengals are specifically searching for one spot with an hour to go until the NFL trade deadline. The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported the team is focused on defensive tackle.
"The Cincinnati Bengals are searching specifically for a DT," Russini posted on X. "There’s a group of teams also hunting for the same position."
Cincinnati hasn't gotten much impact from Sheldon Rankins this season (58.1 overall PFF grade) and as of this writing would largely have to rely on rookies in McKinnley Jackson and Kris Jenkins for interior push.
B.J. Hill has played well when he's been on the field but is dealing with another injury this week.
