Ted Karras Bullish On Orlando Brown's Cincinnati Fit: 'Huge Pickup For Us'

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Cincinnati fans hope Orlando Brown Jr. is the final piece of the Bengals' offensive line puzzle. Center Ted Karras loves what he's seen so far as the team awaits real hitting late this summer.
"A high-energy guy brings it every single day," Karras said to our own James Rapien about Brown. "You know loves ball. Happy to be there. Obviously, he's a giant man and an elite left tackle and is a huge pickup for us. He's gonna fit in our offense amazing. Culturally, he's going to be a culture driver, a guy that he's going to be vocal in the locker room. I can't wait for, you know, our relationships all to develop between me, him, and (Alex) Cappa. We have so many great leaders on the O-line, and we need to come ready to go come this fall."
This past season was Jonah Williams' lowest graded year at LT (61 overall PFF grade). Multiple knee injuries had plenty to do with a ten-point decline from his prior career low.
Meanwhile, Brown hasn't graded below a 74 overall since 2018. If Williams stays healthy and transitions well to the right side, the Bengals should have the franchise's best offensive line since 2015.
