Von Miller: Joe Burrow's 'Not Going to Take The L' With Sacks

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow's pocket presence is one of his best attributes for the Bengals' offense, and an annoying one for future hall-of-fame pass rusher Von Miller.
The Bills defensive end told The Ringer recently that the Bengals quarterback is one of the rare passers that "doesn't take the L" and fall down when pressure collapses around him in the pocket.
"So let's back up here," Kevin Clark said to Miller. "The Manning Brothers would just take the L?"
"Yeah," Miller said. "Eli's gonna lay down for you. Peyton, he's gonna lay down for you."
"Is there an opposite of the Manning's?" Clark asked.
"Joe Burrow's like that," Miller concluded. "He's not going to take the L. Patrick Mahomes is not going to take the L. Josh Allen is definitely not going to take the L."
That acumen has helped Burrow grade among the top-12 passers in PFF grade under pressure each of the past two seasons.
His skill and awareness with that part of his game should continue to grow in what projects as the first normal offseason of Burrow's career.
