Tee Higgins Fighting Through Drops Early in Season: 'It Starts Off in Practice'

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins leads the team in drops (three) early on this season as he gets his feet underneath him in 2023.
Higgins was not himself on Monday night, catching two passes for 21 yards on 10 targets.
"Next play mentality at the end of the day," Higgins told All Bengals' James Rapien on Thursday. "Every receiver drops the ball, but every receiver doesn't want to drop the ball, obviously. But it happens. I'm a professional, so I gotta play the game like I'm a professional."
Higgins has some good Titans memories to channel a bounceback performance after notching seven catches for 114 yards and one touchdown in the 2022 matchup.
"It starts off in practice," Higgins said about the clean catches. "Just coming out with a great attitude in practice. Catching everything that comes my way in practice. So I can relay it into the game. ... It was flushed when the game was over. Game's over, it's a new game next week. And that's my mentality."
