Report: Bengals Running Back Chris Evans Suffered Torn Patellar Tendon During Joint Practice

Ugh.

CINCINNATI — Bengals running back Chris Evans suffered a torn patellar tendon in Thursday's practice according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

The fourth-year running back was carted off the field during Cincinnati's joint practice with the Bears. Evans was on kick return coverage and went down.

Evans will miss the entire 2024 season.

While torn patellar tendons take about nine months to recover from, the #Bengals expect Chris Evans to make a full recovery. 🙏
