Browns GM Andrew Berry Reveals Interesting Tidbit About WR Elijah Moore
Sometimes if you really want something, you have to stay adamant about it. That saying goes for the game of football as well. Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry revealed on Sunday that the Browns were after Elijah Moore for a while.
Berry revealed to media at the NFL meetings that Moore was indeed a trade target for the Browns last October. Moore had wanted out of New York at the time but the Jets opted to hold onto him until just recently.
It was Moore's upside and position versus rut that was noted to make Moore an attractive piece to the puzzle. Moore can play in the slot or outside in the Browns' offense.
At last, the Browns were able to squire Moore and it took their second-round pick. But they got a third-round pick back, and in the end, only ended up having to move back 32 picks while adding Moore.
