Criminals continue to target Cleveland Browns players as a third player has been the victim of a crime, a source tells Browns Digest. Defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey was robbed of his car, as well as jewelry outside of a Cleveland nightclub.
This development is becoming a clear vision that Browns players are being targeted for their belongings. Criminals know NFL players have shiny nice things with the money they make, which makes them an easy target.
It has already been reported that both Greg Newsome II and Demetric Felton have both been victims of similar crimes over the course of the last two days.
At this point, the Browns and local authorities will need to step in and intervene with the happenings. Three players targeted in a short period of time tells you exactly what the criminals are doing.
