Former Browns DE Chase Winovich Expected to Sign With Texans

Former Cleveland Browns defensive end Chase Winovich looks to be heading to the Houston Texans.

Cleveland Browns are losing depth off the edge as defensive end Chase Winovich is expected to sign with the Houston Texans, per NFL Network. Winovich came over from the New England Patriots in the Mack Wilson prior to last seasons.

This past season with the Browns, Winovich had just one sack in eight games. The former Michigan product started in two games for Cleveland.

Winovich recorded 5.5 sacks in each of his first two season in the league as a member of the Patriots. Since then, the production has not been there. Houston will be another spot for Winovich to look to put it all together.
