Former Browns QB Baker Mayfield to Have Multiple Teams Interested, Possible Price tag

Former Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield is expected to have multiple teams interested, according to a report that names the possible price tag too.

Former Cleveland Browns No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield is set to hit free agency for the first time in his NFL career. According to a report, multiple teams are interested in Mayfield including his last team, the Los Angeles Rams.

Mayfield played better for the Rams last season after a disastrous stint with the Carolina Panthers, the team that claimed him after the Browns released him. While with the Rams, Mayfield threw four touchdowns to two interceptions and recorded four.

The San Francisco 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to be interest in Mayfield, per the report above. For the 49ers, it would be a backup role with the possibility to playing time if their injury woes continue. While the Buccaneers are focused on moving on from Tom Brady, Mayfield could battle with Kyle Trask for the job there. Mayfield is expected to garner around $8 million a season.

With free agency set to kickoff next week, it won't be long before Mayfield lands with his fourth NFL team.
