NFL, Cardinals Fans React to Budda Baker Trade Request

Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker has requested a trade from the organization, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He reportedly spoke with the team back in February and demanded to be made the highest-paid safety in the league or be traded.

Months later, it appears the Cardinals haven't budged, and neither has Baker on his trade request.

It's just the latest on top of the sh-- sundae that's been life with the Cardinals this offseason.

Baker is 27 and still appears to have a few good years left:

I understand the arguments about age, analytics, and positional value of safeties.

Budda Baker transcends that. He is an exemplar of everything the Cardinals say they want to be. He makes everyone better because of his example.
