Chargers show interest in ACC sack-leader heading into NFL Draft

In this story:
The Los Angeles Chargers said goodbye to Joey Bosa this offseason, and while they brought back Khalil Mack, he's only signed for one year.
That's why it wouldn't be a surprise to see them target a pass rusher early in the 2025 NFL draft, and one player is already standing out as a potential fit. Donovan Ezeiruaku, who led the ACC in sacks last season with 16.5, is said to be on the team's radar.

The Boston College defensive end reportedly already met with the Chargers during the NFL Combine and is predicted to be available when they're on the clock at No. 22.
Boston College ED Donovan Ezeiruaku had 16.5 sacks in 2024. Ran the best Shuttle (4.19) + three-cone (6.94) among EDGEs at the Combine. Elite agility translates 👀

Ezeiruaku put on a show during the Combine, topping all EDGE prospects in the three-cone and shuttle drills. The three-cone drill is especially important since it shows how quickly a defender can stop, turn, and accelerate once again.

Watching him play at Boston College, it's not a surprise to see Ezeiruaku show out in this drill. He displayed a natural bend throughout his career and was constantly exploding into the opposing backfield.
In four seasons, he recorded 215 tackles, 47 tackles for a loss, 30 sacks, and batted down four passes.
