Kalshi also offers basketball markets built around the point margin and combined score.

A spread market might ask whether New York wins by more than 4.5 points, while a total market could be based on whether a matchup produces more than 228.5 combined points.

Kalshi can list several thresholds around the same outcome rather than restricting traders to one central line. That gives you a way to choose between a more achievable threshold at a higher contract price or a more demanding outcome at a cheaper entry price.
