Sept. 24 was the day that Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal first took breath on this lush green and blue spinning rock, and for his birthday, the Hurricanes landed a commit that was on the Hurricanes' minds for quite some time.

The Canes landed rising three-star defensive lineman, Frederic Sainteus, after spending two weekends in a row around the Hurricanes program.

The 6-foot-4 290 lbs. senior from Naples, Fla. committed to the Hurricanes over Florida, Florida State, and Michigan state according to 247sports Gaby Urrutia.

For this class, it is only the second defensive lineman commitment in an area the Hurricane shave been trying to make massive flips from around the country. They have the eyes of few but there are still a few months to go before national signing day when those players could flip.
