Broncos Running Back By Committee: Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay

The dreaded Running Back By Committee is widely used across the board among NFL rosters which selfishly irks fantasy football managers. Ideally, all running backs in the league would be bell-cows like Christian McCaffrey or Ezekiel Elliott and fantasy football players would have their pick of the litter when selecting from a group of 32 stud running backs instead of about six or seven. But the reality is, the RBBC is more the norm than having one true stud back. The situation in Denver’s backfield is an interesting one. Both Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay have independent value in fantasy. Sports Illustrated’s Frank Taddeo and Mile High Huddle’s Chad Jensen highlight what makes Gordon and Lindsay’s situation unique.
