Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Mavericks-Grizzlies

In this story:
The Memphis Grizzlies are set to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. This is the third time the teams will match up this season before their last meeting on April 13 to finish the regular season against each other. Both teams are looking to get back on track after building up losing streaks.
The Grizzlies have lost their last four games, including their last loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Memphis was playing without star big man Jaren Jackson Jr. against OKC, who suffered an injury earlier in the week.
As for the Mavericks, they have lost their last three games, with a major part of their recent failure involving their barrage of injuries. Unfortunately for Mavericks fans, their path isn’t any easier on Friday.

The Mavericks are very banged up with ten players on Friday's injury report. Notably, the Mavericks will be playing without star big man Anthony Davis against the Grizzlies. Davis is listed as out due to a left adductor strain, which he suffered in his Mavericks debut after being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Davis is averaging 25.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists with 53/31/79 shooting splits. Davis' absence has hurt the Mavericks, as they have a 4-6 record when he is sidelined. Dallas is trying to avoid a four-game losing streak, but his absence will should Memphis break a four-game skid of their own.
The Grizzlies and Mavericks face off in Dallas at 7:30 p.m. EST on Friday.
