Joe Burrow and Zac Taylor Brush Off Trash Talk Between Bengals and Chiefs Following Loss in AFC Title Game

Kansas City beat Cincinnati 23-20 on Sunday night.

CINCINNATI — There was plenty of trash talk between the Bengals and Chiefs ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Kansas City ultimately won 23-20. Not only advancing to Super Bowl LVII, but earning the right to talk plenty of trash after winning the conference title.

"It was a heavyweight fight yesterday, and they came out on top and they get a chance to get the Super Bowl," Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said. "And so when you're in that position, you get to say what you want to say."

From Chris Jones to Travis Kelce and plenty of others, the Chiefs had plenty to say. Some of it was in response to the pregame chatter that came from the Bengals.

“I just think that’s what makes football fun," Joe Burrow said. "It’s all love at the end of the day. They know the respect that we have for them and we know the respect that they have for us. It’s an intense, emotional game and things like that are going to happen but I think that’s why the game is fun.”

The Chiefs will play the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
